2 NEW RECORDS
In 2009, there has been caught during the whole yaer only 4 `new` fish records. (corrections)
But that here in Gran Canaria are still bigger fishes, than on our recordlist is certainly a fact.
In less than 3 weeks there are by our clients still 6 records broken.
20 September - Bluefish
21 September - Angelshark - Monkfish
29 September - Tiger Moray
02 October - Torpedo ray
08 October - Dorado
08 October - Scad Mackerel
So it were today the records for the Dorado and the Scad Mackerel which has been broken again.
The Dutch angler Bert Vos, who caught last week the `new` record of the Tiger Moray, was also today the lucky one.
Bert caught a Dorado with a weight of 17.825 gram/39.3 lbs
This fish was 140 gram/0.31 lbs heavier than the `old` record fish from the Englishman Geiff Harrod. (12-07-2010)
A second record fish has been caught this morning by our Dutch friend and client Wim van den Berk.
The Scad Mackerel from Wim was weighting 290 gram/0.64 lbs heavier than the old one from George Staines.
This Englishman caught on the 25th of March 2009 a Scad Mackerel with a weight of 920 gram/2.03 lbs.
Blue Marlin Charters like congratulate Bert and Wim again with there NEW Records.
Today there has been caught by Wim van den Berk also a good sized Wahoo. (photo of the day)
The weight of this fish was 32 kilo.
Well done Wim !!!!
