270 KILO BLUE MARLIN RELEASED
Very bad luck for the 4 fishermen `A Lelie` from Holland.
Yesterday they had chartered the CAVALIER to do some trolling fishing, today they tried to find their luck with some reef fishing.
Only on this last trip they caught some seabreams, a big turtle and missed a hook up with a Stingray.
Sorry guys, because not every day can be a good fishing day!
The anglers on the EXPLORAMAR had a lot more luck. Also on this boat the crew starts with 3 hours reef fishing.
A special welcome also this morning for Desiree Groen who is fishing, together with her father, still 5 years with us.
That Mr Groen is still in top condition he proved by catching a very nice Red Snapper and a Skipjack Tuna.
Also the other anglers hooked in with some Skipjacks and an 8 lbs Amberjack.
At 12 pm the crew decided to try for the last 3 hours of this trip, also some trolling fishing
It was the right decision!
At 14.15 hrs the boat hooked in with a Blue Marlin and Henk Wijtman from Belgium was the lucky fisher.
It was a hard fight, but after 1 hour, captain Billy could release a good sized Blue Marlin, which fish has been estimated at a weight of 270 kilos.
Congratulations again for crew and angler.
Tonight, the EXPLORAMAR is going for one week to the island Fuerteventura.
Here the boat will participate in the Fuerteventura Big Game Tournament 2010 which will be fished on the 8th, 9th and 10th of September.
We expect that the boat will be back in Puerto Rico on the 13th?
We of Blue Marlin Charters wish both captains Billy and Benito, leadermen Oliver and Alvero and of course the fisher Erik from Holland, a lot of luck and tihht lines!
For `last minute` bookings I advice our customers to make their booking(s) by phone on number: 0034 607626237
Please don't wait too long, because we have this week only a few places left our boat CAVALIER
Hans
