This Sunday we can look back on a successful fishing day.
The Cavalier was this morning the only one, of the 6 sportfishing boats of Puerto Rico, which left at 9 a.m the harbour.
After more than one hour trolling they found large schools of hunting dolphins.
The large schools of baitfish which went together with these dolphins, brought for the fishermen the first Atlantic Skipjack Tunas in the boat.
This took place a little later by the larger Albacore Tunas.
First, 1 single hook-up, followed by a 5 strike.
A total of 5 has been caught and just one was lost.
With 3 Skipjacks and 5 Albacores in the boat, halfway the trip, not really a bad start.
Almost ended this fishing day with the capture of a Blue Marlin.
A very hard bite on the rod of Klaas Westerhof, some nice jumps, a run of nearly 150 meters, ........and
Bad luck Klaas, maybe tomorrow it's your turn again.
Greg Young, Dan Hartles, Stewart Christie, Alan Tait, William Novat Alisen and Greig were today the successful anglers.
