BLUEFIN TUNA 2
It was the last days very exciting here in the harbors of Arguigeguin, Puerto the Mogan and of course also Puerto Rico.
Bluefin Tuna isn't every day swimming around in the waters of Gran Canaria.
But to catch them is of course not so easy.
The heaviest Bluefin which has been caught was 2 days ago by a comercial boat from Arguineguin.
They caught one, on a hand line, with a weight over 200 kilo (440 lbs)
A private boat from Puerto the Mogan brought a 180 kilos fish to the port.
The crew had a hook up at 16.00 and were fighting more than 6 hours with this fish.
Different fishing boats brought fish between 50 and 100 kilos to the harbor.
Unfortunately, no successful trips for the CAVALIER and the EXOPLORAMAR.
The schools with Tuna are staying at the moment at 20/25 miles off the coast, so to far for our 6 hours fishing trips.
Starting tomorrow we are fishing again on the reef for Amberjacks, Red Snappers, Bonito's, Murenes....etc
