We wrote a few weeks ago in this Latest News about `El Niño` and put question marks at the extreme catches which has been done this winter in Gran Canaria.
For example, there were catches reported in December of Blue Marlin.
But there were also during the past weekend two fishing boats which both hooked up with a Blue Marlin.
And two days ago there was also a 103 kilos Big Eye Tuna caught by a sportfishing from Puerto Rico.
And today another private boat from Puerto de Mogan reported the catch of two 30 kilo Big Eyes .
The Cavalier returned yesterday to the port, after a day of trolling, with about 20 small Skipjack Tuna.
The excellent bait fish for these big hunters.
Today were the catches on the Cavalier made by four German sport fishing friends.
All four caught some large North Atlantic Bonito.
Tomorrow perhaps Bonito, Skipjack, Moray, Marlin, Tuna ............. ?????
In the winter of 2016 you never know...........?
