GREAT FISHING DAY
The crew of the CAVALIER fished this morning with their clients on a `new` reef on a depth of 105 meters.
On board Emil and Karl Henriksen from Norway, who were both very successful on this trip.
They caught some very good sized Red Snappers and Karl caught also a lovely small baby Hammerhead Shark.
The Englishmen John Ryan and Marco Rieeiuti caught some Red Snappers and an Amberjack.
Also the EXPLORAMAR started this morning on the deeper reef.
The crew tried everything to find the right fishing spot but unfortunately without success.
So they decided to try it on another place.
On this `new` place the success starts also for them.
First the clients caught, with very light rods, some live bait.
This live bait on the heavier 12 till 20 lbs rods gave a great sport for catching Baracuda's.
It was Spehen O Dowd from Ireland who caught the first Baracuda.
Pat Lucas, a regular client of the EXPLORAMAR, was today very lucky by catching a `New Record` for the Torpedo Ray.
With a weight of 6180 grams/13.6 lbs was her Torpedo Ray 1929 grams/4.26 lbs heavier then the old record.
This stood since the 5th of April 2010 on name of the Danish angler Arnstein Flaskerud.
Congratulations again Pat and welcome on the Blue Marlin Charters Recordlist.
Red Snappers, Barracuda's, Amberjacks, Skipjack Tunas, Butterfly Rays, Common Stingrays, Roughtail Stingrays, Eagle Rays, Hammerhead Sharks, Dorado's, Wahoo's, Moray Eels and lots of different species of Reeffish...............etc
All these species has been caught on the boats EXPLORAMAR and CAVALIER ONLY during the last week.
