In a `nasa` (a Canarian fish trap made of chicken wire) is this week a Brown African Snapper caught.
This specie, which normally occurs in the coastal region between Senegal and Angola was never before caught in Canarian waters.
The Brown Snapper (Lutjanus dentatus) was caught by commercial fishermen at a depth of 100 meters off the coast of Agaete. (Gran Canaria)
The fish had a length of over 1 meter, and had a weight of 25 kilos.
