LUCK .........? KNOWLEDGE.........?
After their day off was the crew of the Cavalier this morning already early waked up to make their fishing gear in top condition for the next fishing trip.
Damaged lines were replaced and the hooks were even more tightened.
The boat left the harbour at 9 a.m, searching for a new Bluefin adventure.
The Cavalier caught now 11 Bluefins and the search was now for number 12.
They found the schools with Bluefins but unfortunately not one was intersted in the lures.
After 6 hours trolling they went back to the harbour.
Disappointing for angler Jim McKeen who had chartered this morning the Cavalier.
-----
The second trip was the boat chartered by fisherman Alex Jerominos from England.
Alex, especially flown over from his holiday destination Tenerife to Gran Canaria, had chartered the Cavalier today from 15 to 20 hours.
And yesssssssssssss, after 2 hours trolling fishing ....................................... hooooooooook upppppppppppppp.
Bluefin Tuna number 12 had showed up.
It was a tough battle which after more than one hour and 20 minutes was won by Alex.
His Bluefin is released in a good condition.
Cavalier was today the ONLY boat who caught and released a Bluefin Tuna.
LUCK ..........? KNOWLEDGE.........?
