COMMON STINGRAY 105 KILOS

This morning, when leaving the harbor, the anglers on the boat Cavalier were almost immediately successful.
They hooked in with an, estimated 40 lbs Wahoo, but lost the fish behind the boat.

The catches on the reef were this morning quiet okay.
There has been caught some nice Snappers and lots of Seabreams.
Howard Foster from Shetland caught with live bait also a nice Sierra Tuna.
Unfortunately, because also on the reef we missed a hook up with another Wahoo.

More than 90 inches in diameter and up to 235 pounds, was the Stingray, which was caught by the Dutch angler Matthias Geuze.
The fight with this `whopler` took 55 minutes.
Well done Matthias and congratulations again.

Hans
