The 2021 Corona World Cup, which was fished for the second time this year, was won by the boat Blue Marlin 3.
It was the Dutch angler Klaas Westerhof who got a bite from a Blue Marlin around 12 noon.
The fight lasted 1 hour and 40 minutes, after which the fish could be released cleanly.
The weight of this Blue Marlin was estimated by the crew at approximately 500 lb.
The winners of 2020, Eric Pos and Jos van Loo fished again this year on the Cavalier. Unfortunately, they returned to the harbor empty-handed.
I would like to thank all participants and crew again for these two exciting but above all enjoyable fishing days.
And of course Klaas congratulations again on winning the second Corona World Cup.
