It was this Sunday morning only the boat Cavalier which was sailing, the entire sport fishing fleet remained in port.
After a successful fishing day and the great catches of the previous days all fishermen on board had a top feeling
With a moderate south west wind were the conditions in each case okay.
The first hours of the fishing trip were pretty quiet until at about 12 p.m a large school with hunting Bluefin Tuna was observed.
Only a few minutes later we saw hundreds of tuna, with weights between 200 to 300 kilos, jumping around the boat.
Whooooowwwww what a magnificent spectacle.
It was Edwin's rod which got the first bite.
A huge Bluefin had grabbed the lure and disappeared with a huge speed in depth.
Now it was Edwins` turn in the fighting chair.
While the other fishermen rewinds the other rods, we hooked suddenly in with a second tuna.
It was the rod of the English angler Darrell Cooper.
Darrell had now to fight his tuna stand up as the fighting chair was already occupied by Edwin.
The battle lasted about 60 to 75 minutes after both Blue Tunas could be released.
The weights of the Bluefin Tunas were estimated by the crew at about 220 and 240 kilos.
Fantastic Edwin and Darrell and congratulations again with these great catches.
Also, of course, thanks to the professional crew of the Cavalier who have made this possible again.
