Large Big Eye Tuna caught by Jos van Loo from Holland Cavalier & Blue Marlin Sport Fishing Gran Canaria

The Cavalier had this morning 5 Blue Marlins in front of their the boat.
Crew and fishermen tried everything but unfortunately without any success.

After half an hour the boat Fish-On from Pasito Blanco passed and within a few minutes they hooked-in.
Unfortunately for Pedro, because after a short fight he lost this marlin.

The next disappointment came 20 minutes later, when a commercial fishing boat hooked in beside of the Cavalier with a 300 kg blue marlin.

Searching for new success the Cavalier found a large school with very large Bigeye Tuna
But also the boat Blue Marlin 3 had seen these school and both were full motivated.

The Dutch angler Jos van Loo fished today on the Blue Marlin 3 and it was just his 80 lbs rod which hooked in with one of these giants tunas.

Jos needed one hour and 10 minutes to fish his `monster` tuna behind the boat
As I write this news, the fish is not officially weighed and we have yet to do so with an estimated weight.
Jos itself weighs 70 kilos, so my estimated weight of this tuna is 129 kilos ?
What do you think...........more or less?

Once I know the truth, I will just mention this in our Latest News.
