NEW RECORD
Because the trolling fishing was yesterday morning very quiet, the crew of the CAVALIER decided to do some reef fishing on their second trip.
It was the right decision because the most of the anglers on board caught one or more good sized fish.
It was fisher Henk Wijtman from Belgium who caught on this trip a beautiful Common Torpedo.
His fish had a weight of 9.200 grams / 20.3 lbs, which was 1020 grams heavier than the `old record of 6120 grams / 13.6 lbs.
We from Blue Marlin Charters wish Henk welcome on our list of Record Holders.
Angler George, also from Belgium, needed during this trip all his muscles, to land a `huge` Common Stingray , which has been estimated by the crew at a weight of 180 lbs / 80 kilos
Well done George, the Photo of the Day is yours.
More good sized Rays during this fishing trip has been caught by the anglers, Bep Charite, Gijs Kindt and Tony de Clerq.
There were caught also lots of Seabreams.
We RELEASED ALL Rays
Hans
